Welcome to the official website of the Rapides Parish Fair! Here, you'll find all the details you need about the fair, including concert schedules, ride lists, 4-H and FFA livestock competitions, and more. The fair takes place each October at the Rapides Fair Grounds. We offer a plethora of free entertainment for the entire family, featuring food vendors, rides, games, and more. General admission is only $2 for individuals aged 6 and older, while children 5 and under are admitted for free. Admission tickets can be purchased at the gate or online to avoid the lines.

This year, we've added over 1,350 extra parking spaces on the grounds, and you can enjoy a complimentary trolley ride courtesy of the City of Alexandria. The construction of the Dewitt Livestock Barn will be completed in time for this year's fair, allowing families to visit and see all the animals. Be sure to check out the Barnyard Nursery, an excellent spot for the little ones.  Also this year we plan to have a covered platform so our local church, dance groups etc. c can display their talents. Additionally, we invite you to relax at the "Rest and Relaxation Tent" sponsored by Y-Not Stop (the official fuel stop for the Rapides Fair), located on Hwy 71 South next to the State Evacuation Shelter, at 8149 Hwy 71 South, just beyond the LSU-A campus.
