Welcome to the official Rapides Parish Fair website! This is  the place to find concert information, ride lists, 4-H and FFA livestock competitions, information to help you enter your exhibits and all the information you need to enter contests and competitions. We have loads of great FREE entertainment for the entire family.   Tons of food vendors with every type of food you can imagine, rides, games and more for all ages. Visit Vendor Alley. 

 

General Admission to the Rapides Parish Fair is $2 (Ages 6 and up).  No charge for ages 5 and under.  Tickets can be purchased at the gate or you can beat the crowd and purchase online this year.

The fairgrounds are located on Hwy 71 South next to the State Evacuation Shelter, 8149 Hwy 71 South right past the LSU-A campus. This year will have added 1,320 extra parking spaces on the grounds  You can ride the trolley free of charge compliments of the City of Alexandria of and get dropped off at the fairgrounds. We invite you to take a rest stop at the Louisiana Lottery's Rest and Relaxation Tent sponsored by the Louisiana Lottery Association.

The Rapides Fair Association Mission Statement

The mission of the Rapides Parish Fair Board is to provide opportunities for 4-Her’s and FFA members to showcase their agricultural, livestock, arts and crafts and home economic projects and to offer awards and prizes in support of these projects. In doing so the board strives to provide a quality parish fair experience and an educational and safe family atmosphere for the entertainment of the citizens of the community.
